1. Scope
These terms govern access to authenticated TopTasks web experiences. Diverging contractual terms apply only when we countersign bespoke paperwork (for instance an enterprise supplement).
2. Service overview
TopTasks offers personal productivity and planning tooling. Improvements roll out progressively; uptime is best effort beyond any higher guarantees we explicitly document in premium agreements.
3. Accounts and security
Provide accurate signup information whenever we ask for it and keep passwords or connected social accounts secret. We may temporarily restrict profiles involved in abusive or unlawful activity.
4. Acceptable use
Respect copyrights and other peoples' rights, do not misuse the infrastructure, and refrain from disrupting the service for others or bypassing safeguards such as sensible rate limiting.
5. Disclaimer and liability caps
Statutory carve-outs prevail: deliberate wrongdoing, gross negligence, injuries to life, body, or health, and other non-waivable claims stay fully enforceable. For ordinary negligence harming essential contractual duties liability is limited to foreseeable damages wherever local law permits such a cap.
6. Termination
Leave the service anytime by deleting your account; we may likewise suspend access consistent with our privacy policy.
7. Modifications
We may revise these terms periodically. Meaningful edits will surface in-product or alongside other customary notice to you before they take force, and continued use expresses acceptance absent mandatory objections under consumer law.
8. Miscellaneous
Interpretation follows substantive German law, except that mandatory protections of consumers in their home state continue to benefit them where stronger.
